Susan has taught at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts; the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, CT; Penland; Oregon College of Art and Crafts; the Books Arts Institute at the University of Southern Maine, as well as at other institutions, numerous public and private schools, and in her studio in Deer Isle village.

Susan also teaches workshops with her husband and poet, Stuart Kestenbaum.
